This is a lovely three bedroom, two bath cottage located on the waterfront of Lake Granbury, within Indian Harbor, a private and gated community. This home is located on a quiet cove with a large covered boat dock that will easily accommodate 15-20 people. Great fishing off the dock with rope swing when you need to cool off! Launch your boat or jet ski's at our private marina. Our boat dock has power lift for a boat and 2 jet ski's. In addition to the rope swing, there is a paddle boat to enjoy in the private cove. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the large wrap-around porch with tables and chairs that will accommodate 10-12 people easily. While you hang out under the covered wrap-around porch, enjoy a game of bags or washers with the kids, both included. There is a large, gated yard and pets (dogs only) are welcome. There is a large covered carport for two cars and a long driveway that will hold an additional 4 cars. In addition to the private boat dock, there is a private marina and cafe in Indian Harbor to launch a boat for free. This cottage is sure to bring back memories of childhood with the decor in the home. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. The property is just a 7 minute drive to historic Granbury City Square! This is a guest suite with a private entrance attached to the main home on the property. In the first story bedroom, there is a bunk bed with full size and twin beds. Attached is a half bathroom. Lake views can be enjoyed here. On the first floor there is also a kitchenette available for convenience foods, small dining table, and TV. Our comfortable couch can also be used as a sleeping space in this area. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with a full bathroom attached and walk in closet. Breathtaking views of the lake can be enjoyed from this peaceful and spacious waterfront room. (5-7 minutes) There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores around. Downtown Granbury is a fun way to spend the day or evening just walking around the square either window shopping, trying out different restaurants, or they even have the Granbury Opera house! Granbury often has special events (ie. chili cookout, 4th of July celebration, Fall festival, Christmas lighting of the downtown area, etc.) It all really boils down to spending quality time with each other. #MakingMemories. You will see that quite a few times in this listing because I am a firm believer that it is so important to do just that. Making memories is so important and you might as well make them FUN ONES! I am making our home a place that is as easy and relaxing as it is fun. No stress allowed. There is also a wildlife park approx. 15 minute drive away from our house. (Fossil Rim in Glen Rose) It is a wonderful place to take the kids. Even the big ones! the animals will come to your vehicle and eat the food that is paid for by you when you pay your admission into the park. Six Flags over Texas is about an hour away from us and well worth the drive. Top Golf is a short 20-30 minute drive away. As is the FTW Stockyards. Plenty of things to do and see! Full Kitchen stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. All linens are provided.Children welcome. Does not include breakfast. There is an additional $75 cleaning fee. This main body water front lake property, with your own 48ft pier to tie up your boats and jet skis. This property is one of the best spots on the lake for paddle boarding and kayaking ,because it is so wide and hardly any boat traffic. The updated Main house is 2 bedroom and 1 bath which sleeps 4 adults and 4 kids with 1 Queen over Queen bunk beds in both rooms which is a total of 4 queen in main house. The view from living room looks like you are on the water. The guest cabin or bunk house also has 2 sets of Queen over Queen bunk beds, which will sleep 4 adults and 4 kids. All of the mattress ,beds and couches were purchased in 2019. The entire property is fenced except for the water side. This location is prime for kayaks, paddle boarding or jet skis. This is located 4.1 miles from downtown and located super close to going up in the river for all the prime water and wake boarding. You can get to all of the lake front restaurants by boat if you want. There are a total of 8 super comfortable foam queen mattress. Lots of good fishing from your private pier and also the HOA pier and boat ramp are next door one house down. There is a paddleboat, 2 single kayaks and one double kayak at the property, but life jackets must be worn when in use at all times. Adults must supervise kids swimming at all times. There is now a basket ball goal in front yard and one in the water attached to the pier see pictures. Also Wifi included. There is also a fire pit to enjoy out on the pier

Main Floor = has 1bedroom with a queen bed and access to full bath, living room with fireplace, full kitchen and dining room all on this floor with great views of the lake. Upstairs Floor= has Master Bedroom with a king size its own bathroom and large sitting area, and access to the hot tub room, with a balcony for coffee in the morning. Downstairs (water level)= has two sets of bunk beds and queen bed. Access to lower deck with sitting area and an outdoor shower. Upper deck off main floor has lounge chairs, various tables and chairs, umbrellas, BBQ, and seated bar with chairs, high table with built-in heater. Please note, the lake level is back up to normal levels after an all time low for 3 years, and therefore the boat lifts are not functional for lack of use and don't have an ETA on repairs. We have had guest bring their boats and bring it into the dock and tie it. Our house is on the deepest and widest part of the lake so we are blessed for that. There is great fishing off the deck, caution should be taken when swimming or diving off the lower deck. Please contact Granbury Marina for boating conditions. I don't own a boat therefore not the best to provide advise. I have seen jet skiing and limited boating on the lake.

There are 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths. Downstairs is the king master bedroom and bath, and a queen bedroom with full bath. Upstairs are two huge bedrooms with 3 queen beds each, and a private bedroom with a twin bed. There are 2 twin mattresses that can be used in the media room. There are 2 very large bathrooms upstairs. The kitchen will delight the gourmet in your group! It is fully stocked with a huge variety of cooking and serving utensils, and a cabinet full of spices is available for your use. The appliances are GE Monogram, with double electric ovens, a 5 burner gas cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a Keurig coffee maker, as well as a traditional coffee pot, a toaster oven, several crock pots, blender, and a food processor. There are large, flat screen TV’s in the living room, master bedroom, and upstairs media room. There is WI-FI and cable TV included. Antique pinball machine does not work. Lovingly referred to as “The House of Sunsets”, the back yard is what makes this place so special. The covered patio runs the length of the house, and is 12’ deep. There are plenty of rocking chairs to go around, and 2 outdoor tables for eating. There is a chiminea on the porch, for cozy fires on a rainy day, and a fire pit for conversations and making ‘smores. Pitch washers under the lighted trees, while overlooking the lake front. The dock has a picnic table, a slide and play fort for the littles, and a boat slip for your boat. The water slopes gently from the sea wall, from 3+ feet deep, to over 10’ deep at the dock, great for swimming and playing in the water. We are one block from the neighborhood boat ramp. Hot tub is available for an upcharge of $100.00 per stay. Should you want to have some fun away from the lake, Granbury is the place to be! Hidden Oaks Golf course is less than one mile away, and Squaw Valley Golf course is only 30 minutes from our house. The historical Granbury Square is loaded with unique shops and fabulous restaurants. There are festivals on the Square throughout the year, which just add to the fun! Granbury also has a multi-screen theatre and a bowling alley. Fossil Rim Wildlife Park and Dinosaur Valley State Park are both a short drive away. We are located only 45 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, and one hour and fifteen minutes from the Dallas Cowboy and Texas Ranger sports complexes, as well as Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor.

Throughout the day, our large swim dock makes it easy to enjoy the water or bring your boat to launch in our neighborhood marina. After a fun day on the water, enjoy our grill and dine outside under our white, twinkle-lit deck. Coming to enjoy the Christmas holiday events? Our fully stocked kitchen will make it easy to bake your Christmas cookies while you enjoy the wood burning fireplace. Play a board game or two around our kitchen table for great laughter and a true quality time experience. Or--wanting to hit the town? Boutique shops, wineries, restaurants, live theater and great music are all a short drive away. Enjoy the outdoors also with hiking, golf and boat/jet ski rental very nearby at Sam's Dock (817-964-3052) or Lake Granbury Marina (817-279-1000). Guests will enjoy a master bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom, complete with a shower and jetted tub. Two other guest rooms boast a queen bed and two twin beds, sharing a full bath. Additional sleeping is available on a fold out coach in a private den/TV room. In all, sleeping is available for eight guests. The large living area has a large Flatscreen Smart TV and comfortable couches.....it is positioned between the kitchen and patio so the entire group can enjoy the game even if cooking or enjoying the sunshine. ? ??PATIO?? The gigantic patio will provide your group with plenty of great pictures and memories...and in case you missed it, there is an incredible lake view! ??DOCK?? This part of the lake is deep water so you can tie your boat to our dock, you can swim from the dock, and you can even fish from the dock......what else do you need? ? ??KITCHEN?? You will have everything you need to make meals for a large group - Modern kitchen with a full-sized oven, stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and all of the pots/pans, spices, and cooking oil you'll need! ? ??BATHROOMS?? 2 Full bathrooms means you and your friends will never need to wait on each other - there is also a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use. ? ??DINING AREA?? Our favorite place to eat is the large outdoor table - there is also counter top seating in the kitchen. Guest access ??LAKE?? You will be a 30 second walk from the lake (where you can swim) plus we will recommend the best places to rent boats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and more to make sure you have a great time on the lake! ??PRIVATE DOCK?? You are welcome to pull your boat to our dock for easy access to the lake - no boat?....don't worry, you can swim and fish off the dock! ??RESTAURANTS?? **NEW RENOVATIONS AS OF MARCH 2021** We're excited to share our newly remodeled Anchor Away with you! Relax, unwind and enjoy an open water setting ready for your get-a-way! Shade trees, covered patio & large fenced backyard to the lake allows you to catch the perfect sunsets. The spacious dock allows for plenty of room to fish, keep your boat or water toys tied up or to just to watch the birds fly by and the fish jump. Inside Anchored Away, you will find an open living-dining and kitchen concept with extra space for entertainment of the pool table that all looks out the wall of windows overlooking the lake. The wine/coffee bar is ready for the perfect set-up for all your needs to enjoy the morning and the "5 o'clock somewhere" afternoons! Wi-fi is available along with cable including movie channels for the flat screen TV. Games and books are available for your "off-line" entertainment. The King and Queen rooms split each side of the home with their own baths in the hallway. The 2 "Bunk" rooms, one room with a custom bunk bed twin over full bed and a pullout twin trundle and the other with a Queen bed meet in the middle of the home and are ready for lots of kid fun or each room can be closed for privacy. The home is fully equipped with all your needs in the kitchen, a charcoal grill for outdoor dinners & all linens for the bed & bath. A Keurig, coffee pot & a blender are available to bring your goodies with you! If you want to do those domestic things...there's a full-sized washer & dryer along with an iron & ironing board. A 10-seat table and a breakfast bar allows for plenty of seating indoors or venture out to the dock for waterfront dining on the turquoise picnic table. Right off the backyard, the lake is perfect for floating and swimming starting shallow and gradually getting much deeper to the back of the dock for jumping fun around 8 ft. Bring your water toys, life jackets & floats for the whole experience! If you bring your boat/jet ski, there's a private community boat ramp just a short drive down the street from the home. Need extra parking? No problem, the home has an extended long driveway plus private additional parking in front of the home (20x60). Anchored Away is located in a small quiet neighborhood within 2 miles from local grocery stores including H-E-B and Kroger or find everyday shopping at Ross & Marshalls. The quaint uniqueness of downtown Granbury is a short ride into town where you can find lots of fun stores and one-of-a-kind restaurants. You probably won't want to leave but just in case you do...there are so many near by attractions from the house that you can look forward to such as shopping/festivals in Granbury, golf courses, drive-in movies, wildlife parks & dinosaur exploration! Being on the Ft. Worth side of Granbury, it's a shorter drive! 45 min from Downtown Ft Worth & a little over an hour from Downtown Dallas. You will be here before you know it!
